Book early to avoid disappointment

Our re-engagement programmes are designed to provide interim teaching and learning, as well as bespoke pastoral support, for children in Key Stages 3 and 4 who are struggling to attend school. Programmes last anywhere between 6 and 12 weeks long, and support children to either reintegrate into school or transition onwards.

ONLINE-ONLY PROGRAMME | £295 per week

The online-only programme consists of up to ten sessions per week, including:

  • small group lessons taught online by specialist, qualified tutors
  • weekly curriculum overview reports
  • summary progress report at the end of the programme

The online-only programme is likely to be useful where the child still has a positive relationship with school, but struggles with the noisiness and busyness of the environment. They are likely to still be accessing some elements of school, such as extra-curricular activities or social times, or on a reintegration timetable. The online-only programme is designed to complement school’s reintegration planning.

FULL RE-ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME | £395 per week

The full programme consists of up to ten sessions per week, including:

  • small group lessons taught online by specialist, qualified tutors
  • individual face to face sessions with a re-engagement coach
  • weekly summary progress reports
  • three 30-minute update meetings with school and parents
  • summary report with recommendations at the end of the programme

The full re-engagement programme is suitable for children who need dedicated, arms-length pastoral support to build a relationship, develop resilience and link them back in with school. This is likely to include children who have had significant time away from school and who need to rediscover and rebuild relationships with key staff. The full re-engagement programme is designed to lead and facilitate reintegration planning on behalf of the school.

BESPOKE RE-ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME | from £649 per week

Bespoke programmes are often funded by Local Authorities, or a combination of both the school and the Local Authority. By their nature, bespoke programmes are individualised and designed entirely with the individual young person at the centre. However, all bespoke programmes include as a minimum:

  • up to ten individual sessions per week with highly trained and experienced staff
  • an overarching curriculum intent with education-based activities tailored to the young person’s needs and interests
  • half-termly update meetings with school and parents
  • weekly curriculum overview reports
  • summary report with recommendations at the end of the programme

Our bespoke programmes are likely to be of benefit to children who have been out of school for significant amounts of time and have not yet engaged in any reintegration planning, for example those who require Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) arrangements.
